Sand Box

Tonight Jeff got off work early and the kids and I were down on the dock enjoy the beautiful day. So we hopped in the boat and went for a short ride. I want to enjoy the lake this year. Last year we went on the boat once! Trevor loves it!! We took Barney along and he loves to run on the island. We saw loons, float planes, ducks. We even saw a northrn swimming right by our dock. The mosquitos aren't bad yet, so I want to enjoy every minute of this gorgeous weather. After we came back from the boat ride we packed up the kids and some food and drove up Nungessor to get a load of sand for a sandbox we got from Keith and Jenni's. The kids played in the sand pit while Jeff shoveled. They had a blast. On the way home we ran out of gas. Mike came and bailed us out. Could blame it on the gauge that doesn't work, but really, we forgot to fill up until we turned on the Nungessor road, where you can't get gas anymore, so we decided to see how far we could go. We made it the whole way back to the Chukuni Subdivsion, not bad, but not home!! The kids played in the new sand box for a long time when we got home. Then we came in and had popsiciles and the kids are in bed now. Jeff is doing estimates and phone calls for work, I'm trying to unwind, and get ready for bed. The house is a mess downstairs and we are having Bible Study here tomorrow, I guess i'd better get up early.

I didn't go swimming today. Alabama got a sliver in her finger and will not let us touch it to get it out. I didn't think she'd want to swim with her sore finger and I didn't want to deal with it. Jenni took Tia along with them. Well, good night.

Hey Wendy, good to hear from you and I too love the pictures! (I think I've said that before...) Maybe we can see you sometime while we're passing through Red Lake before and after our trip to Wpg.this weekend and next week. We'll have to see how much we can fit in. =)
