We have a moose!

Well the guys all went out hunting last weekend and came home empty handed!

Jeff, Derek and Mikey Chowaniec went out this morning for the whole day.  I was visiting with Elise and talking about how we don't like being left behind, but it isn't much we can do about it.  except pray that they get their moose early.   I was making lunch and I heard footsteps on the porch and there was Derek with a big grin on his face and a thumbs up!   They shot a cow!  Derek and Jeff both only had calf tags, but Mikey could get  a cow!  Thank you Jesus!  We will have some meat for the freezer!  

This was the first time the kids ever saw a dead moose. Tia was grossed out and said she will never eat moose again!  Trevor was all into it!  Dylan was scared, and Alabama didn't seem bothered either way.  

Anyway, we are going over to Derek and Elise's for moose meat supper tonight!!! 

This week has had it's share of challenges lately.  I get so overwhelmed sometimes and just don't know what to do.  

The only thing I know I can do it Take it to Jesus.  Seek ye First the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you!!

I am reminded that His yoke is easy and His  burden is light and He asks us to bring our burdens to Him, so He can help us carry them.  

So when three kids are crying at the same time, I'm exhausted from a poor night sleep, 

When our belly's are feeling a bit hungry and I don't know what I'm making  for supper, I will take my struggles to him.  He has been known to change my attitude that takes me through the day.  

Well, Dylan is sleeping now, I need to put Trevor to bed.
